Do you long to write more regularly but struggle to do it on your own? Maybe there’s a project whispering to you—an essay, a chapbook, a memoir—but time keeps slipping away. The Inspiration Lab is a generative, eight-week writing workshop designed to help you build creative momentum in a supportive, structured environment.
Part class, part accountability group, this class blends writing time, craft study, discussion, and meaningful feedback to help you move from inspiration to completion. You’ll set a big-picture intention at the beginning of the eight weeks, then move towards it with bite-sized weekly work sessions and compassionate accountability from the group.
Each week, you'll write in community, learn from powerful short readings, and leave with practical goals and fresh inspiration. Whether you're starting something new or returning to a long-held project, this space is here to help you reconnect with your voice.
You’ll Leave With:
Significant progress on an existing project
Written and verbal feedback on a piece of your choice
A deeper understanding of craft through curated readings and discussion
A tailored set of prompts and creative tools to keep you writing
Clarity about your intentions for writing and next steps
A compassionate writing community you can return to

What Past Students Have to Say
“Rebecca is an extraordinarily gifted teacher and writer. She creates a safe environment where creativity flourishes. Each student is accepted and encouraged to express their unique voice.”
“This class reveals the strong energy that a community of writers creates. Rebecca skillfully holds a container for the group, facilitating an environment which supports flexible accountability, expanding creativity, and compassionate feedback.”
“Rebecca’s ability to create a safe container for writers to experiment, share, learn, and generate in the Inspiration Lab allowed the growth that I needed. Learning how to bring vulnerability, constructive feedback, and accountability while choosing my own adventure in the sessions quickly advanced my writing practice.”
“Thanks so much for sharing your wisdom on writing. And thank you for creating a warm, supportive environment for a diverse bunch of writers. I am so impressed at how well you seemed to meet each of us where we were at.”
