Writers' Inspiration Lab

FRIDAYS, may 23-july 11
10 am-12 PM CST | ONLINe

Do you long to write regularly but find it hard to do on your own? Maybe you have a project you dream of completing, but never seem to find time? Part class, part accountability group, the Writers’ Inspiration Lab is a place to make progress on your creative goals in a compassionate community.

Each week, you’ll generate new work from prompts or work on a piece in progress. You’ll deepen your understanding of writing through group discussions from some of my favorite readings on craft and the writing life. You’ll leave each group with inspiration and achievable writing goals for the week ahead.

You’ll also receive in-depth feedback on one piece of your writing during the eight weeks.

— Marcia
This class reveals the strong energy that a community of writers creates. Rebecca skillfully holds a container for the group, facilitating an environment which supports flexible accountability, expanding creativity, and compassionate feedback.
— Emma
Rebecca’s ability to create a safe container for writers to experiment, share, learn, and generate in the Inspiration Lab allowed the growth that I needed. Learning how to bring vulnerability, constructive feedback, and accountability while choosing my own adventure in the sessions quickly advanced my writing practice.
— Matthew
Thanks so much for sharing your wisdom on writing. And thank you for creating a warm, supportive environment for a diverse bunch of writers. I am so impressed at how well you seemed to meet each of us where we were at.
— Inspiration Lab Student
